PROVIDING & AFTER PREGNANCY LOSS
Support
Guidance
Helping you navigate the "what comes next?" in your emotional and physical healing and how to return to fitness.
Hey Mama...
I'm Ashton &
I'm so, so sorry for your loss.
I've been there too.
I'm so sorry you're being faced to navigate this difficult road. I can very much relate to the anger, frustration, & heart-ache you're feeling as I too experienced pregnancy loss with my 2nd son - Gabriel Rae at 16 weeks gestation.
And while I wish DESPERATELY I could take all the pain and grief away, I can only provide you with something I wish someone would have handed me after I walked out of the hospital with empty arms. A guide with information, education, and resources on "What came next?" in both my emotional and physical healing, as well as, guidance on what returning to fitness looked like after pregnancy loss.
As I went to seek out this information myself, I continued to come up short-handed. There just wasn't much good information out there that wasn't more than a blanket statement of "you'll begin to feel better soon."....REALLY?!?
So to ensure that you got the information and resources you deserved, I pair up with my mental health therapist and bereavement in creating Gabriel's Guide.
So Mama while I hate you stumbled here, I am also so grateful you've stumbled here because I don't believe you (or any Mama) should have to navigate pregnancy loss alone.
I hope through my own journey, that this guide brings you healing and a hope for your future. Because you ARE still a Resilient Mama 🤍

Additional Resources
Grief isn't a linear process and I also recognize that everyone has different ways of healing. I also know that you didn't just experience loss, but that your significant other did too. I want you to know there are people, organizations, & materials available to support you both.

Gabriel's Story
This Guide is His Legacy
After a long 4 year battle with infertility, my husband and I pursued IVF in February of 2019. Our first son Oliver, a fresh transfer, was born in November of 2019.
In November of 2020, we transferred our first frozen embryo. Ten days later we found out we were expecting and thought our long, dark days of fertility struggles were over.
A few days before Christmas, we saw his little heart flutter on the screen. He was growing beautifully and 3 days ahead. Over Christmas, we surprised our families with the news - something we always wanted, but infertility took from us.
Continuing to grow right on track - and always 3 days ahead - at each appointment, we decided to "tell the world" at 15 weeks gestation. That night was the last time I heard his little heart galloping like a horse via my home doppler.
Our world came crashing down on February 22, 2021, at my 16-week appointment where the doctor said those dreaded 6 words "I'm sorry, there is no heartbeat."
We learned the next morning that Gabriel's little heart stopped beating just a few days prior as he was still measuring 3 days ahead at 16w3d gestation.
In the late hours of February 25th, I was induced and at 9:47pm on February 26, 2021, Gabriel Rae Koehlmoos was born. Every feature of him was absolutely perfect.
